Ask Ai Guy® — free general legal information from Ai Law's AI assistant
What's happened with commercial sport & media?
Tell me in your own words, and I'll get you to where you want to go — the right page, the right document and the right solicitor here.
Information only · not advice · England & Wales
Ai Guy® gives general legal information, not advice, and using it does not make you a client. It won't do the things only a solicitor can — property transfers, probate grants or court filings.
Speak to a solicitorAbout Ai Guy®
Am I talking to a person?
No. Ai Guy® is an AI assistant run by Ai Law, not a person or a solicitor. It gives general information about the law of England and Wales, not legal advice, and it can make mistakes.
Is Ai Guy® really free?
Yes. Asking questions and getting general legal information are free. You only pay if you go on to instruct one of our solicitors — and we agree the fee with you up front.
Can I rely on the AI's answers as legal advice?
No. Ai Guy® gives general legal information to help you understand your options, and it can make mistakes. It is not legal advice and does not create a solicitor–client relationship. For advice you can rely on, instruct one of our solicitors: they advise on your situation once you instruct Ai Law.
How is it 'grounded' in real law?
When it states what the law says, it cites the actual provision on legislation.gov.uk, with a verbatim quote and a link you can click to verify. It is built not to invent statutes or cases — if it can't find a source, it says so.
Is my information safe?
Please don't paste sensitive personal information into the tool before you are a client. We don't ask for it, and it isn't used to train any model. Using the tool does not make you a client, and what you type there is not legally privileged. See our privacy notice for how enquiry data is handled under UK GDPR.
What can't the AI do?
It won't complete reserved legal activities — property transfers, probate grants, or court filings. For those it gives an explainer and a solicitor completes the work. It also won't handle urgent or deadline-critical matters; for those, contact a solicitor straight away.
